Walls and ceilings
Filled, sanded, spot-primed and rolled — two coats, cut in by hand at the ceiling and the trim.
Painting · GTA & Niagara
Renovation and refresh painting inside the house: surfaces repaired and primed properly, edges cut by hand, two full coats, and the room handed back clean. Quoted by the room after we have seen it. Water damage from a leak — stains, bubbled paint, soft drywall — repaired and repainted once the leak is fixed.
What we paint
Inside the house the standard is the same as outside: the surface is prepared properly, the edges are cut by hand, and the room is handed back clean.
Filled, sanded, spot-primed and rolled — two coats, cut in by hand at the ceiling and the trim.
Caulked where they meet the wall, sanded smooth, enamelled for a hard, wipeable edge.
Taken down or taped off, de-glossed, enamelled on both sides.
Moisture-resistant finishes where steam and splashes live.
The awkward ones — proper access, no stretching from a stepladder.
Room by room on a schedule you can live with.
How a room goes
Most paint failures are preparation failures. We spend the time where it counts.
Furniture to the middle, under drop sheets. Floors protected wall to wall. Fixtures and hardware taped off or removed.
Nail holes, dents and cracks filled and sanded; tape seams and corners fixed; stains blocked.
Patches and bare spots spot-primed so the finish coat goes on even and stays that way.
Edges cut by hand, two full coats rolled, trim and doors enamelled.
Furniture back, floors clean, a walk-through together before we call it done.
Water damage repairs
The brown ring on the ceiling, the bubbled paint, the soft drywall — repaired properly after the leak is fixed: cut out what is damaged, dry it, patch it, block the stain and repaint so it disappears. Most of what we repair is the result of a failed exterior joint, and that is our trade — we find the leak first.
The entry point is traced on the outside — window head, flashing, penetration, masonry — and sealed. If the cause is roofing or plumbing, we say so.
The cavity and the drywall are checked for moisture and dried before anything is closed up.
Soft, sagging or crumbling drywall is removed; new board is fitted, taped, mudded and sanded flush.
A stain-sealing primer over the repair and the surrounding area — not ordinary paint, which lets water stains bleed through.
The ceiling or wall repainted corner to corner so the repair disappears, in the existing colour or a fresh one.
What we repair: ceiling stains; bubbled or peeling paint; soft or sagging drywall; cracked tape seams; swollen baseboards and window casings; efflorescence on interior masonry. Every leak repair is different — a stain to block and repaint is a small job, a wet cavity with new drywall is not — so it is quoted after photos or a visit. Send photos of the damage and of the outside wall above it and we reply with a number, usually within one business day.

Straight answers
By the room and the scope — walls, ceilings, trim, doors — after we have seen it or had photos and rough sizes. We quote the prep honestly: filling, sanding and caulking the trim are what make the finish, and they are in the price, not added later.
No. We move furniture to the middle of the room, cover it and the floors, and move it back when the paint is dry. Breakables and anything on the walls, we ask you to take down first.
A premium washable finish on walls and a harder enamel on trim and doors, in the sheen that suits the room. Tell us a brand or a colour and we match it; otherwise we recommend one.
A standard bedroom with walls and ceiling is a day with two coats; trim, doors and repairs add to it. We give you the schedule before we start and we keep it.
Not if two things are true: the leak is fixed, and the stain is blocked with a proper stain-sealing primer rather than painted over. Ordinary paint lets a water stain bleed straight through within weeks. We do both.
That is where we start. Most of what we repair is the result of a failed exterior joint — a window head, a flashing termination, a penetration — and that is our trade. If the cause is plumbing or roofing we tell you, and we repair the damage once it is fixed.
No. Drywall that got wet once and dried flat can usually be primed and painted. Drywall that is soft, sagging, crumbling or has been wet for a while gets cut out, the cavity checked and dried, and a new piece taped and finished.
If the cavity shows mould we tell you before we close it up. Small areas are treated and dried; anything larger is a remediation job and we say so rather than painting over it.
